BREADCROCK

FLOOR POT

Back

I gave this pot the rather unglamorous title of 'breadcrock.' Stoneware, 36 by 39 cms, it is part of the collection of the National Gallery of Australia. The surface of the pot is a manganese/copper vitreous engobe. Over the late '70's and 80's I made many such pots.

Floor pot. 1972, 40.7 cms. Stoneware, Made in Rose Park. It is in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia. Photo NGA.
