This free-form platter is Stoneware, from the 'Yandicoogina' series, made after visiting this area in Western Australia. It is 62 cms in diameter. 1999. The mining company. Hammersley Iron Ore, through my Perth agent, Marlene Stafford, invited me to visit the area, acconmpanying some of the mining company officials on a full day helicopter flight to various sites.Yandicoogina, a very ancient area was one of the places visited.
