A group of multiple-glazed dishes, fired to stoneware, with Amblygonite, a lithium mineral as a glaze ingredient. It is the lithium that gives the intense colour response. Amblygonite was added to an iron glaze and a copper glaze which were then put on the dishes, fired under oxidation to about 1250 degrees C.
