PLATTERS

Back

As I recall, this platter was made at Summertown perhaps fifteen or twenty years ago. It is about 40 cms diam. and the decoration has references to stony and shaded pools in one part of the Flinders Ranges. It is still in my possession.

This pot is part of my 'Marragabi' series. This Australian Aboriginal word means 'mirage.' Made in 1998 it is approx 58 cms wide. Stoneware. It was made in my Beulah Park workshop. A friend of mine bought it so I know where it lives: I rarely know where my pots find a home.
