PLATTERS

Platter, 1982. 51.2 cms diam. Made at Summertown. It is in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria. It is one of the series 'Phases of the Moon.' I felt it had a rather mysterious quality.

This platter was made in 1982. 52 cms, it is in the Powerhouse Museum collection. I did a series of pots which I called 'Phases of the Moon.' I referred to this one, at one time, as my Australia Hokusai,so-named after a famous Japanese painter of that name.
